Bradford Interchange Bus Station reopening – 5 January 2025

12 December 2024

Preparations have been taking place to ensure a welcoming and safe reopening of Bradford Interchange Bus Station. Bus services will restart from the upper concourse on 5 January 2025. Due to ongoing resurfacing works in the Interchange, a small number of services will remain on-street.

Ways we can support you:

  • Check the latest information on wymetro.com/bradfordinterchange
  • Ask support staff in the Interchange and at key on-street locations from 5 January
  • Visit the Travel Centre in the bus station
  • Call MetroLine on 0113 245 7676

What has changed?

As part of the work being undertaken, the former taxi rank is being developed into a new public plaza with eye catching artwork displayed inside and outside the lower concourse – which will create a more welcoming gateway to the city once completed early in the new year. Renovations to the rail station’s external access ramp are underway, providing better lighting and a new non-slip surface. Refurbishment of the station toilets are also complete.

We would like to thank customers for their patience and look forward to welcoming you back.
